Professor Asim Kurjak

Dr. Kurjak received his degree from the University of Zagreb and then went to work as a research assistant at the Institute of Obstetrics and Gynecology, University of London. In 1974 he became a specialist in obstetrics and gynecology and then completed his PhD in 1977.
He has more than 400 peer review articles, edited and written for over 100 books and given lectures at over 700 major international meetings.
Dr. Kurjak has won many awards and he is a regular member of the European Academy of Sciences and Art, the International Academy for Human Reproduction, the Italian Academy of Science and Art of Reggio Puglia, the Academy of Medical Sciences of Catalonia as well as being an honorary member of American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine and Biology and a foreign member of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences.
Presently, he is Past President of World Association of Perinatal Medicine; the coordinator for the Educational Committee of World Association of Perinatal Medicine; Vice-President of International Academy of Perinatal Medicine and Fellow of World Academy of Art and Science.
